Hoy hemos estado revisando la unidad 1 de Social Science. En el colegio estamos introduciendo "nuevas metodologías" como los mapas mentales.
Most of the people use or have used this technique in one form or the other.
La mayoría de la gente usa o ha utilizado esta técnica de una u otra forma.
The reason it works so well si because it makes use of both sides of our brain, taking the slightly more analytical left side and using words and relationships. It also benefits from the slightly more creative or colorful right side, using images and colours.
La razón por la que funciona tan bien es porque utiliza las dos mitades del cerebro, cogiendo la parte izquierda más analítica y utilizando palabras y relacionándolas. También beneficia a la parte derecha más creativa o colorida, utilizando imágenes y colores.
We think that the moment children learn mind-mapping tecniques or other visual mapping techniques, they will have an advantage over the people who aren't using these tools.
Creemos que en el momento en el que los niños aprendan las técnicas de los mapas mentales u otras técnicas de esquematización visual, tendrán ventaja sobre otros que no las estén utilizando.
They will be able to summarize books more quickly, create better notes, outline ideas and stories much more easily, etc. In short, their time in school becomes a lot more fun! They will enjoy studying and get better grades.
